Nature walks

Nature walks

Here at SEA LIFE Birmingham we like to do all we can to help in our local environment as well as the wider ocean environment. Our team of enthusiastic Aquarists take part in conservation projects every month with our local wildlife trust, The Birmingham and Black Country Wildlife Trust.

This work includes pond building at schools in the region, building bird houses, and creating nature walks for schools.

Our local birdlife faces just as many dangers as some creatures do in the wild, including accidental capture, being killed on the roads, loss of breeding habitats, industrial waste and global warming. They are also prey for cats, who account for about 1 million deaths per day!
