King Crabs

Be astonished by our spectacular crabs, the Japanese spider crabs and king crabs.

King crabs were imported by the Russian Army from the Kamchatka peninsula to the Barents Sea, in order to have a sufficient food stock for the soldiers.
Nowadays king crabs are invading the floor of Barents Sea, killing every creature in their way.

Spider crabs owe their name to their spidery appearance. Japanese spider crabs are the largest crabs in the world; they live at a depth of 200 to 300 metres.
