Events & experiences at Sea Life Brighton

We will be doing our part for the environment during the bin strike by holding our own beach cleans! Join us at 9am in our courtyard Saturday 15th – Friday 21st June, bring your own gloves, and get involved with cleaning up the beach!

Once again, we are teaming up with WDC (Whale and Dolphin Conservation) for our annual Walk For Whales event. Starting at Saltdean Lido and walking along the coast to the SEA LIFE Centre, you will be raising money for this great charity and stopping along the way for fascinating rockpool experiences with our SEA LIFE staff. This event may not be at Sea Life, but there are 2 family tickets up for grabs as prizes for the costume pageant!

'The first ever March of the Mermaids will be taking place in Brighton, Saturday July 27th 2013. A not-for-profit event in celebration of the sea and summer, to raise money for the Marine Conservation Society. A day for all the family to take part in, meeting in the afternoon on Hove Lawns, participants will dress as mermaids, mermen, or their favourite crustacean and all things nautical! We will then march (hobble / flop / hop) along Hove and Brighton seafront ending at our after-party venue on Marine Parade where more fun and games will be awaiting our arrival. There will be adult and children's costume pageants, with the crowning of Miss Brighton Mermaid 2013 and King Prawn 2013.' Visit the Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mermaids.march.

We’ll throw the spotlight on sharks for this event 14th October – 3rd November, with talks, feeding demos, kid’s activities and lots more - because sharks need friends too, and they’re amazing, fascinating creatures. The event is included in the admission price.
