Turtle Conservation Talk & Feed - 11.00 & 14.00 - Ocean Display
During this talk you’ll get to meet our biggest and most famous residents, Lulu the Giant Sea Turtle and Jersey the Loggerhead Turtle. You’ll find out all about their histories and what issues their species face in the wild – as well as learn about the other residents of the giant Ocean Tank, including the Blacktip Reef Sharks.
Fishy Facts & Reef Feed - 12.00 - Ocean Display
Sea Bass and Bream might be shy and have a few secret hiding places but they can be really feisty when it comes to dinner time! These silver beauties are found in the Mediterranean as well as British waters. Find out all about them during this fascinating talk.
Native Ray Talk & Feed - 13.00 & 17.00* - Ray Display
This is your chance to help out! At the Ray Tank talk and feeding time you’ll find out all about the rays who live with us and how we breed them. What do they eat? How do they breed? Can you tell the different rays apart? You’ll also get to meet some of the other residents the Dogfish, Mackerel and Bream.
Coral Reef Conservation Talk & Feed - 15.00 & 18.00* - Harbour Display
Our Ocean Tank contains more than 30 species. During this talk you’ll see the fish enjoy a feed as well as find out what the Bat Fish and Venomous Foxface do. And if you're lucky you’ll be able to spot our Wrasse cleaning our Giant Sea Turtle and Sharks!
Sea Happy Shark Talk - 16.00 - Ocean Display
Fact! The Shark is the most misunderstood predator in the oceans. Find out why, what threatens their existence and what we can do to help them in this Tropical Tank talk. At feeding time you’ll see the Blacktip Reef Sharks, Sandbar Sharks, Nurse Sharks and Zebra Sharks enjoying a fishy lunch.
