On the day
On average it will take you about 1.5 to 2 hours to enjoy the full SEA LIFE experience. However this depends completely on you and how long you would like to enjoy our underwater world. Tickets are valid all day and th
e majority take advantage of this and return throughout the day.
How long will it take me to visit the whole attraction?
When you arrive at the aquarium you will find that we have two queue lines in busy periods, both clearly labelled. The one on the right is for all those wishing to purchase a ticket on the day. This includes all those people with a discount voucher to visit the centre.
The other queue line, on the left, is for those people that are annual pass holders or have pre-booked their visit online or via the contact centre. This is our fast track, priority queue line.
Where do I need to queue?
Yes, disabled access is available at the aquarium. There is a disabled access entrance located through the tunnel off the beach and can be accessed via the ramp down to the beach which is next to the Brighton Wheel. The tunnel leads out into the courtyard and thus avoids the steps down to the centre. This entrance is also useful for those with buggys. We also have a disabled toilet available.
There is only one area of the centre itself which does not have full step free access and this is the auditorium, however all talks which take place in the auditorium are able to be heard in the tunnel which views the same tank and creatures. Our staff who present all the talks in the Auditorium will always leave the talk via the underwater tunnel, specifically to speak to any wheelchair users or people with pushchairs who were not able to attend the talk session upstairs.
Is there disabled access?
There is disabled parking available on the sea front, just next to SEA LIFE. The centre can then be accessed from the ramp leading down from the Brighton Wheel, through the tunnel off the beach and into the courtyard of the centre.

Yes, there are toilets and baby changing facilities inside the centre. These are located near the exit, just before the gift shop.

For the health and safety of you and our animals, we ask that you do not touch any of our animals unless invited to by a member of staff, for example, at our rockpool.
Can we touch the creatures?
Yes you can take photos in the centre, to help remember your day, however we do not permit the use of any flash photography as this can scare, harm and even blind our creatures. Don't forget to share these with us via Facebook or Twitter, we'd love to see them!
Am I allowed to take photos in the centre?
We do not have any cloakroom facilities in the centre. We do however provide a buggy park for our guests to use so that those who can leave buggies do not feel obliged to take them into the centre; in this way we can give priority and more space to those who need it most, particularly wheelchair users. All belongings left in the buggy park are left at the owner’s risk. SEA LIFE Brighton accepts no responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen items.
Is there anywhere to store my belongings or pushchair?
We do have a gift shop and this is located at the exit of the centre. This is only accessible with entry to the centre itself and sells a wide range of products from key rings to soft toys. The perfect souvenir for your visit!
Do you have a gift shop?
Yes, there is a cafe located within the centre, in the arcade, which serves both hot and cold drinks, as well as a range of sandwiches and snacks. This area has tables and chairs provided for all food purchased on site.
Is there anywhere to eat lunch at SEA LIFE Brighton?
All tickets are valid for the whole day, so you are free to enter and exit at your leisure. Please ensure however that your hand is stamped on arrival so that you can gain re-entry once you've left.
What happens if I need to leave before the end of my visit?
We do not have our own parking facilities. We recommend visitors park in either the NCP multi-storey car park located behind the Thistle Hotel or the one sign posted for Churchill Square Shopping Centre. These are both within walking distance of the centre, approximately a 10-15 minute walk.
There is also parking available along the sea front. Although this is nearest to the centre, it is unfortunately extremely expensive.

We have many different options for booking and purchasing tickets. You can pre-book online, via our bookings and information line on 0871 423 2110 or on the day here at SEA LIFE Brighton. Please note that tickets booked online and via our bookings and information line cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or deals such as 2-4-1 vouchers.

Where can I purchase tickets?
Yes. Tickets purchased online have a variable pricing structure in which the further in advance you book, the further the reduction will be on your ticket choice. The price also varies depending on the time of day you wish to make your visit. This is similar to those tickets booked via our bookings and information lines. All pre-booked tickets include priority entry. All tickets purchased on the day are full priced, please note that you can only use promotional vouchers with tickets purchased on the day.
Do your prices differ online and on the telephone to what they do during the day?
For a ticket only, the individual price is £17.40. For groups of between 2 - 9 people, the price is £14.10 each. Please see our ticket prices page for information.

What are the ticket upgrade options?
There is no disabled rate but if you are registered disabled you will be entitled to admit one free carer with you. Please ensure that you bring documentation with you on the day such as your blue badge, DLA Letter or note from a doctor or specialist. If you are booking in advance, you do not need to book a ticket for your carer.
Is there a disabled rate available for admission to the centre?
SEA LIFE Brighton is suitable for everybody however if you are under the age of 14 you will need to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 and above. You may be asked to produce I.D. upon arrival to prove your age so please ensure you have this handy to avoid disappointment.
Are there any age restrictions?
Yes, we accept promotional vouchers for SEA LIFE. Please read all terms and conditions on the voucher itself thoroughly prior to your arrival. Vouchers and promotional deals can only be used when purchasing full priced adult tickets on the day here at the aquarium. Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any online or telephone bookings and cannot be used with any other promotional offers or deals.
Do you accept promotional vouchers?
If you can't bring a print out of your confirmation email then please make sure you write down the booking reference number and bring this with you along with some ID and the card used to make the booking.
I've booked online but can't print out my confirmation, what do I do?
If you work for one of our corporate discount partners, such as the NHS, you are eligible to receive a discount on our admissions price. Your employer will inform you of your eligiblity. To be able to receive this discount you need to phone 08712 224 001 and book your visit in advance. The discount cannot be obtained unless a booking has been made via this number.

My company receives a corporate discount, what do I need to do?
There are 2 types of Tesco vouchers currently in circulation that you can swop Clubcard points for - a part payment voucher (£5, £10, etc.), and a specific Sea Life voucher that can be exchanged for a ticket. From 1st January 2013, we will only be accepting the specific Sea Life voucher, and not the part payment vouchers. Neither voucher can be used in conjunction with any other promotional voucher, ie. 241, Kids Go Free, etc.
Do you accept Tesco vouchers?
