I have a mixed grade class. Which program do you recommend?
Underwater Parks is the class that accommodates the most standards across several grades.

I have a class with students with special needs. Half of the students are able to do the program and half cannot do a guided lesson. What do you recommend?
You may book a program for the students that can do the program and the other students can tour the aquarium as long as they are chaperoned.

Which California State Standards are covered in the program?

How far in advance do I need to pay for the trip?
Two weeks in advance.

What happens if the number of students changes the day of the trip?
We will try to accommodate changes in group size.

What is the minimum size for a school group?
Group rates require a minimum of 15 paying students.

How can I prepare my students for the visit?
You will receive a Teacher Guide that contains background information, on-site activities and the California standards.

Where should we go when we arrive?
If you already have tickets you may go directly to the Admissions area at SEA LIFE.

Staff-Led Programs
Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled program time. Tickets can be picked up at
LEGOLAND® California’s “Education, Birthday Parties and Groups” window. Your instructor will meet you at the entrance of SEA LIFE. If you are 15 minutes late for your scheduled program, the program will be cancelled. Please know the exact number of children and adults in your group. Upon the completion of the program, please note that there is no tour escort through the aquarium.

Self-Guided Journeys
Tickets can be picked up at LEGOLAND California’s “Education, Birthday Parties and Groups” window. You can enjoy the aquarium at your own pace. Please note that there is no tour escort through the aquarium.

Where do buses park?
From Interstate 5, buses exit Palomar Airport Road East. Turn LEFT on The Crossings Drive, and LEFT into LEGOLAND. Cars exit Cannon Road East and turn RIGHT on LEGOLAND Drive.

Do school groups have to pay for parking?
Bus parking is free. Car parking is $12 per vehicle, but if you are only visiting SEA LIFE, you can get reimbursed $7 at Guest Services with a valid receipt. Free car parking vouchers are available if requested at time of reservation at a 1 adult: 3 student ratio. Vouchers will be mailed after payment is received. No additional or replacement parking vouchers will be issued.
