Breeding programme for seahorses, corals and jellyfish
How to save them from extinction
Our programme is based on the fact that the seahorses you see at Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium are not bought, nor caught when they are free in open waters: they reproduce and are born here right in our Aquarium. This means that, if seahorses in their free state should become extinct, those here at Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium would be able to guarantee the survival of the species.
SEA LIFE is part of an international task force which continuously monitors the situation in all the world’s seas to protect and preserve this very delicate species.
Even the corals and jellyfish in our tanks have reproduced in our Aquarium.
