Shark Training!
There are 3 Nurse sharks at Great Yarmouth SEA LIFE. Nigel is the smallest and best behaved weighing 16 stone! He was rescued from a pet shop after his owner handed him in because he though he was a small shark that would grow to only a few feet long!!
For the last 1 ½ years, we have been training our Nurse Sharks. This stimulates them so they don’t get bored. It also helps our keepers so that if they ever get ill, we can persuade them to voluntarily come to us so we can take them to the vet!
Watch them all swim directly to targets to be rewarded with their favourite foods!
