Welcome to Sanctuary! Below you will find information on pups rescued during the 2013/2014 Cornish grey seal pupping season. We aim to update this page as often as possible, however, the best way to keep up to date with rescues and pup progress is by 'liking' us on Facebook.

Paloma

Rescue Date: 28th September 2012

Paloma

Hello, my name is Paloma, I am a female grey Seal Pup. I arrived at the Sanctuary on the 28th September after being found abandoned on the beach at Lushington, near Porthtowan. Clare who works at the Sanctuary rescued me from the beach with the help of Dave (BDMLR) who brought me to the Seal Hospital. I am only 2 days old and weigh just 12 kilos. I have been given some anitbiotics and when I am not sleeping I am very noisy! I am in isolation at the moment as I am so young so unfortunately you won't be able to see me just yet, hopefully I can move into the main hospital very soon.
Update - 12th October 2012 - I am currently in the main hospital pen number 4 and being well looked after by the lovely Animal Care Team.
