European Shark Week
Come and join SEA LIFE London Aquarium from the 15th to the 21st October 2011, as we celebrate all things SHARKY as part of European Shark Week!
We'll be collecting donations for the Shark Trust and raising awareness for the serious issue of shark finning and overfishing but with the emphasis firmly on family friendly entertainment!
- Get involved with some interactive sharky games and activities.
- Kids can enter our Shark Art Attack Competition for the chance to win some cool prizes including a ‘Junior Aquarist for the Day’ in which you get to come spend a day helping out behind the scenes and feeding some of the animals including our sharks!
- With lots of shark talks running throughout the day, get the chance to learn more about sharks and ask our staff lots of questions in the Q&A sessions afterwards.
- Feel real shark skin… made up of millions of tiny teeth called derma denticles!
