Bistrot Bruno Loubet opened in February 2010 at The Zetter Hotel in Clerkenwell, London.
Returning to London after eight years living and working in Brisbane, Australia, Bruno brought his distinctive modern bistrot food to one of London’s leading boutique hotels. Bruno uses classical techniques to produce an exciting combination of hearty regional food, contemporary dishes and reinterpreted classics.
The emphasis is on excellent quality ingredients, affordable food, speedy service and enjoyed in a relaxed yet buzzy environment. Bruno, whose resume includes some of the world’s best restaurants (La Tante Claire, Head Chef at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saison, The Four Seasons, Bistrot Bruno, L’Odéon) is also a founding supporter of the sustainable fish city pledge.
“Welcome back, Bruno, we needed you.”
AA Gill, The Sunday Times
“It’s what restaurants are meant to be like."
Jay Rayner, The Observer
“Bruno Loubet’s return to Britain is the most exciting comeback since Jesus appeared on the road to Emmaus just hours after the Crucifixion and said, “It ain’t over till it’s over.”
Giles Coren, The Times
