Port Jackson Shark
The Port Jackson Shark lives on the coasts of Australia and New Zealand.
His Latin name is heterodontus portusjacksoni.
As this Latin name 'heterodontus' suggests, the Port Jackson shark has variably sized teeth. At the back of their mouth they have flattened molars to grind the tough shells of its prey such as mussels and snails. Their front teeth are smaller and much pointier.
