The SEA LIFE Oberhausen offers disabled access and is a child-friendly place. Children under the age of three go free. Read up on our facilities and our restaurant.
At the SEA LIFE Oberhausen, we have full disabled access with lifts to all levels. There are also disabled toilets available.
Unfortunately, children under 3 years of age and people in wheelchairs cannot partake in the glass bottom boat ride.
Toilets & baby-changing
There are toilets and baby changing facilities available.
There is a bit of space where you can leave your buggy at the entrance. However, this service is subject to availability and “first come, first served”. If you leave your buggy there, it is at your own peril.
It is possible to enter and visit the SEA LIFE Oberhausen with your buggy, so you do not need to leave it at the entrance.
Eating and drinking
Make your visit a day trip: Eat at our Restaurant or snack area on the terrace! That way you will not miss out on any of our exciting feeding times.
For hygienic reasons, the Aquarium has a strict no eating or drinking policy considering your own food. Please eat your own food outside.
As the Aquarium is indoors your visit will not be affected by the weather.
To ensure that you will get to see all our fish and to enjoy your visit, about 30 people start their visit through the aquarium every few minutes.
Due to this and especially during holidays and high visit times of day, there may be quite long queues.
Unfortunately we cannot offer you faster entrance with our online tickets (unless with the priority entrance ticket - not always available as not always feasible).
Please plan in some waiting time during high volume periods - perhaps bring some things to entertain your children. Or take a walk while mum or dad keep the place in line.
