SEA LIFE Speyer is fully accessible to the disabled. Children under 3 have free entry. Read more about our facilities and restaurant.

Disabled access

SEA LIFE Speyer is fully accessible to the disabled, with lifts to both levels. A disabled toilet is also available on the first floor. Disabled car parks are also situated directly near the entrance.

Toilet and changing facilities

Toilets and baby-changing room are located adjacent to our restaurant. Please note: There are no toilet facilities inside the aquarium!

Buggy Policy

Due to space constraints there is no place to park prams or buggies before you enter the aquarium space. Where necessary, prams can be taken into the aquarium but on busier days (weekends, public holidays) we recommend you leave them at home. Please be considerate of other guests when using a pram in the aquarium.

Dogs & other animals

Dogs/pets are not allowed in the aquarium (guide dogs exempted).

Eating and drinking

You can enjoy a diverse range of food and drinks in our restaurant and from its balcony fantastic views of the Speyer Cathedral – a UNESCO declared World Cultural Heritage site and the famous River Rhine. We can seat up to 100 guests, weather permitting! For groups of 10 or more we can organize table reservations – orders, prices and quotes available on request!

All-weather fun

As the Aquarium is indoors your visit will not be affected by the weather. On rainy or snowy days you will be protected from the weather and on hot days you can cool down in our aquarium.

The aquarium space is air-conditioned and all indoors – you may need to bring a jacket or rain protection for the way between the car park and aquarium (approximately 15 minutes walk) or if there are waiting times. It’s the perfect location to visit in all seasons!
