The Seal Sanctuary in Gweek is an official UK seal rescue centre. Our seal sanctuary provides a lifeline for stray, sick and injured seal pups which have been discovered around the Cornwall coast.
As well as being able to see our seal rescue and rehabilitation operation, you can discover our seal hospital, meet our resident seals and hear their harrowing stories. The majority of our residents are grey seals which are predominantly born in the winter and are therefore vulnerable to some the most severe winter weather conditions.
As a seal sanctuary we rescue, care for and release to the wild around 50 grey seal pups every year.
