Cape Verde Spiny Lobster
The Cape Verde Spiny Lobster lives in steep and rocky slopes in 50-300 m depth in the eastern Atlantic (previously only known fór the Cape Verde Islands) and reaches a size of 40 to 50 cm.
10t to 20t of the Cape Verde Spiny Lobster are fished commercially. Its body is often covered with prickles and their arrangement and number are of great importance for the distinction of genera and species.
