World Oceans Week

From 8th – 17th June, the SEA LIFE London Aquarium is celebrating all things OCEAN to raise money for the Marine Conservation Society (MCS) and awareness for marine conservation during World Oceans Week.

Guests are invited to come and get creative at the craft table where there will be colouring, competitions, games and lots of learning to be done.

Children who come in fancy dress as any creature that lives under the sea get in for just £5*, with all the money going to the MCS; a UK charity for the protection of our seas, shores and wildlife. The MCS champion the need for marine wildlife protection, sustainable fisheries and clean seas and beaches.

*£5 entry offer applies for children in marine animal fancy dress aged 3-15 (children under 3 go free). Offer applies for walk-up tickets only and is not valid for internet bookings or tickets purchased from other outlets.

In association with the MCS, World Oceans Week is all about raising awareness of the threats facing our oceans such as overfishing, pollution, global warming and this year with a particular focus on littering – but with the emphasis always firmly on family friendly entertainment!

Representatives from the MCS will be joining us all day on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th June to answer questions, give talks and join in the fun! To find out more about the MCS and the work they do visit their website.
