SEA LIFE London Aquarium is celebrating World Oceans Day on 8th June with a week of activities from 6th - 12th June 2011, raising awareness for the threats facing marine life and our oceans as well as raising money for the Marine Conservation Society.

To celebrate, visitors can join in with oceans of fun – from a scavenger hunt to quizzes and talks! World Oceans Day is all about raising awareness of ocean conservation – but with the emphasis firmly on family friendly entertainment!

  • Learn how to help keep our oceans healthy.
  • Fun interactive scavenger hunt.
  • Interactive games and quizzes.
  • Special talks, colouring in and competitions.
  • Any children dressed as their favorite sea creature get in for only £5 and all the proceeds goes to the Marine Conservation Society*.
  • Plus a whole aquarium of fun, including our BRAND NEW family of Gentoo Penguins in their fully Antarctic themed home Penguins: Ice Adventure.
  • PLUS rare Cuban Crocodiles AND nerve testing Shark Walk finale
  • Completely family friendly with interactive features and feeding talks

The SEA LIFE London Aquarium is also championing World Oceans Day by signing up to the Sustainable Fish City Pledge and promising to become as sustainable as possible.
