Charity Requests

Schools and Groups

The SEA LIFE London Aquarium is part of the Merlin Entertainments Group, the world’s number two visitor attractions operator. In early 2008 Merlin Entertainments established the Merlin’s Magic Wand children’s charity.

Merlin’s Magic Wand has been set up to provide magical experiences to children who are seriously ill, disabled or disadvantaged and who might not otherwise be able to visit one of our many attractions around the world.

The SEA LIFE London Aquarium lends it’s full support to Merlin’s Magic Wand as our annual charity, as it provides an excellent opportunity for the team at the London Aquarium to focus our efforts in a specific direction.

As per previous years, the London Aquarium will continue to support registered charities, schools, organisations and the people within our local community, specifically the London boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark, the City of London and the City of Westminster. We do this through ticket donations and financial grants on both a committed and ad hoc basis. In 2011, we have donated over 200 complimentary tickets to individual charities, and hundreds of weekly free entry tickets to the Variety Club.

If you would like to request a charity donation, please write to us with the name of your charity, registered charity number, number of tickets you are requesting, what you will do with those tickets, and contact details for us to get back in touch with you.

To send your request, please post a letter on your charities headed paper to:

The London Aquarium receives hundreds of donation requests each week and all these are carefully considered on its own merit, but given the sheer number of applications that we receive, we can only reply to those that are successful.
