On The Day
On average it will take you 1.5 to 2 hours to enjoy the full experience of SEA LIFE London Aquarium. However this depends completely on you and how long you would like to enjoy our underwater world.
How long will it take me to visit view the whole attraction?
When you arrive at the aquarium you will find that we have a general queue line and a priority queue line. Depending on which ticket you have purchased/wanting to purchase will depend on where you need to queue. Please ask one of our very friendly members of staff who will be more than happy to assist you and show you which queue to join.
Where do I need to queue?
For the health and safety of you and our animals, we ask that you do not touch any of our animals unless invited to by a member of staff.
Can we touch the creatures?
Yes, you can help daily with the 11.30am Ray feed, this comes on a first come first serve basis so get there early if you want to take part! There are many other feeds and talks that you can watch but not participate in too. Please view our feeding times for information on all the feeds and talks we do daily.
Are there any creatures we can feed?
Yes you can as we want you to take your memories of our creature’s home with you, however we do not permit the use of any flash photography as this can scare and harm and even blind our creatures. The use of tripods is also not permitted and if you wish to use a tripod you will need to arrange this with our press team.
Am I allowed to take photos at SEA LIFE London Aquarium?
We unfortunately do not have any cloakroom facilities for you to be able to store your belongings. We do have a buggy park however this is only open on half terms and during peak periods. This is an attended buggy park and SEA LIFE will not be held responsible for and loss or damage caused to buggies left unattended in this area. Please not that only buggies can be left in this and no other belongings can be left in this space.
However London Waterloo Station which is a short 5 minute walk away from us has a left luggage facility which you can store belongings in for the day at a small fee. Please enquire at the station for further information.
Is there anywhere to store my belongings or pushchair?
We do have a gift shop and this is located at the exit of SEA LIFE London Aquarium. This is also accessible without entry to the SEA LIFE London Aquarium itself. To contact our gift shop please dial +44 (0)207 967 1110.
Do you have a gift shop?
Eating and drinking within the aquarium is not permitted so therefore please do not bring your own snacks and refreshments with you. Your entry tickets are valid all day however so you can exit to eat and then re-enter at your convenience.
Can I eat and drink once inside SEA LIFE London Aquarium?
We do not have any facilities where you can buy lunch, however you ticket is valid all day so you are able to exit to get lunch. Eating and drinking is not permitted in the Aquarium. If you are a school visit, please call the contact centre for use of our school lunch room.
Is there anywhere to eat lunch at SEA LIFE London Aquarium?
All tickets are valid for the whole day, so you are free to enter and exit at your leisure. Please ensure your however that your hand is stamped before exiting so that you can gain re-entry.
What happens if I need to leave before the end of my visit?
Currently we do not have a place designated for nursing mothers, however staff on the day will be only to happy to assist you in finding somewhere private.

Booking and Ticketing
We have many different options for booking and purchasing tickets. You can pre-book online here, via our bookings and information line on 0871 663 1678 or on the day here at SEA LIFE London Aquarium. Please note that tickets booked online and via our bookings and information line cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or deal such as 2-4-1 vouchers.
Where can I purchase/book my tickets?
Yes. Tickets purchased online have a fantastic 10% saving, and all tickets booked via our bookings and information lines include priority entry. Our tickets purchased on the day are full priced and please note that you can use promotional vouchers with tickets purchased on the day.
Do your prices differ online and on the telephone to what they do on the day?
Yes! We sell combination tickets for SEA LIFE London Aquarium plus Madame Tussauds London, the EDF Energy London Eye or the London Dungeon. We have many ticket combinations and you can receive great discounts on tickets. Please check our Ticket Prices for more details. These tickets can also be purchased via our bookings line on 0871 663 1678 (calls cost 10p per minute plus network extras) and here on the day. Please note prices may vary.
Do you sell tickets for other attractions in London?
No, this pass is not currently accepted during the month of August, with the exception of August 2012 to coincide with the London Olympics. Premium Merlin Annual Passes can be used throughout the month of August in any year.
Can I use my standard Merlin Annual Pass during the month of August?
We do have vouchers that are accepted with different discounts and offers. Please read all Terms and Conditions thoroughly prior to your arrival, as there are vouchers that are accepted in all SEA LIFE Centres and Sanctuaries with the exception of SEA LIFE London Aquarium. Vouchers and promotional deals can only be used when purchasing full priced adult tickets on the day here at the aquarium. Vouchers can not be used in conjunction with any online or telephone bookings and can not be used with any other promotional offers or deals.
Do you accept promotional/discounted vouchers?
The SEA LIFE London Aquarium is suitable for everybody however if you are under the age of 14 you will need to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 and above. You may be asked to produce I.D upon arrival to prove your age so please ensure you have this handy to avoid disappointment.
Are there any age restrictions?
Unfortunately we do not accept these card types for payment.
Do you accept American Express or Maestro Cards?
We unfortunately do not accept the London Pass here at SEA LIFE London Aquarium.
Do you accept London Passes?
We do accept Leisure vouchers when purchasing your tickets on the day. Please note that Leisure vouchers can only be used to purchase entrance tickets.
Do you accept Leisure Vouchers?
We unfortunately do not accept Nectar Points here at SEA LIFE London Aquarium.
Can I pay with Nectar Points?
Your promotional or 2-4-1 vouchers unfortunately cannot be used online or in conjunction with online purchases. Your vouchers can only be used when purchasing full priced adult tickets on the day here at SEA LIFE London Aquarium.
How can I use my 2-4-1/ Promotional voucher online?
You can if you like, but if you would like to space it out a little you can do so too. You will need to visit the issuing attraction on the date you have selected when booking and then you will have all your other tickets printed at the issuing attractions entrance. You will then have 30 days to visit the other attractions within your combi ticket.
Do I have to visit all the attractions in my combi ticket in one day?
We would advise you to book at least 24 hours in advance in case you experience any difficulty with your booking.
When should I pre-book my tickets online?
If you are unable to visit on the day you have booked for we can revalidate your tickets for you however there will be a £5.00 administration fee charged per booking which will have to be paid upon arrival. What happens if I can’t make it on the day I have pre-booked tickets for?

For security and safety purposes we do not sell child tickets individually online. Please call our booking line on 0871 663 1678 (calls cost 10p per minute plus network extras) to book a single child tickets.
I can’t buy a single child ticket online, how do I purchase a child ticket on its own?
For security and safety purposes we do not sell child tickets individually online as all children under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by and adult 18 years or above. Please call our booking line on +44 (0)871 663 1678 (calls cost 10p per minute plus network extras) to book a single child tickets. Please not children cannot enter SEA LIFE London Aquarium without adult supervision of a 18+ year old.
Why can't I buy a single child ticket online?
If you purchase a disabled ticket on the phone you will automatically be entitled to a free carer pass when collecting your tickets at SEA LIFE London Aquarium. You will need to provide documentation on regarding your disability when collecting your tickets so please do ensure that you have documentation with you such as your blue badge, DLA letter or note from a specialist or doctor.
How do I receive a free carer ticket if I purchase a disabled rate ticket over the telephone?
If you are registered disabled you will be entitled to receive a disabled rate ticket which includes one free carer pass. Please ensure that you bring documentation with you on the day to receive the disabled rate ticket such as your blue badge, DLA Letter or note from a doctor or specialist.
How do I know if I am entitled to receiving the disabled rate ticket?
Yes you do, if you have a blue peter badge and your blue peter card to go alongside it you will receive free entry when visiting with a full paying adult on the day. The adult you visit with will need to purchase a full priced adult ticket and show the blue peter badge to then get you in for free. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers or deals or in conjunction with advanced bookings. Please arrive on the day with your badge and ID card + one full paying adult to get your entry.
