Give your child an incredible experience by spending half a day as an animal caretaker at SEA LIFE! Your child will see the animals up close and behind the scenes, learn what is involved in preparing their food and perhaps even help train a sea lion. After a fun morning, there is still time to visit the sharks, king crabs, creepy fish and jellyfish.
Surprise the children with a day out at SEA LIFE Blankenberge, spending half the day as an animal caretaker. They will help out in the kitchen, making lunch for the otters for example, and then go into the penguin enclosure to clean out their pens and maybe even teach a sea lion a new trick.
The tour starts at 09:00 a.m., and after 12.00 noon they are free to discover the rest of the aquariums. Trust us, the children will have so much to tell the other kids when they go back to school!
This package is designed for children aged 6 to 12 years old.
Only available on the third Saturday of the month.
Other dates are possible if you book for at least two people.
Persons more than 12 years old who would like to experience half a day as an animal caretaker can indicate their interest at firstname.lastname@example.org (stating their age and contact details). If there is sufficient interest, this package will be offered to adults on certain dates.
The tour starts at 09:00 a.m. prompt and lasts until 12:00 noon (excluding lunch).
Bring a raincoat if the weather is bad: some of the animals are outside and they need to be looked after in the rain as well.
An animal caretaker can get wet and/or dirty. Bear this in mind when you are deciding what to wear!
The price of this package is 100 euro per person, including unlimited access to SEA LIFE Blankenberge for the whole day.
Persons accompanying the child need to buy a separate admission ticket (maximum two persons accompanying each child ).
