SEAL RESCUE

SEA LIFE’s mammal rescue and rehabilitation operations are among the busiest in Europe. At sites Europe-wide, our dedicated animal care teams rescue, treat and return to the wild sick and injured seals, as well as caring for orphaned seal pups until they are large enough to care for themselves.

Our SEA LIFE Sanctuaries also provide permanent homes for seals whose injuries are too severe to allow for their return to the wild, as well as animals who have retired from other attractions. SEA LIFE operates UK seal rescue centres in Gweek, Hunstanton and Scarborough, as well as the Blankenberge centre in Belgium.
