Say hello to Babyface...

Hello there, my name is Babyface. I was rescued off the East Coast of England in 1978. I was unable to be released back into the wild so I stayed at colchester Zoo with my devoted female partner Jasmine. While I was at Colchester, I suffered re-occurring eye infections which meant I eventually had to have my left eye removed. Sadly Jasmine passed away in 2010, and I was left all alone. The Sanctuary heard about my story and offered me a permanent home with their other Common Seals. I arrived at the Sanctuary in September 2010. Despite my eye problems, it doesn't stop me having an 'eye' for the other ladies in my life, Luna and Sija.
