Feeding times

For the whole day, there is so much to see and experience at Sea Life. Watch fish feedings and hear interesting facts about the fish.

Check below what you will experience during your visit.

Feedings and other presentations are included in the admissions ticket. Welcome!


Ocean tank feeding

The fish in the largest pool of Sea Life are fed every day. Amongst them are the cool-looking blacktip reefsharks and everybody's big favorite, Sweetie the zebrashark.

Ray tank feeding

The daily feeding for funny-looking rays, big sea basses and other residents of the cold water tank. During the feeding the guide tells you how life is like in the cold oceans of the world.

Clownfish feeding

Known also from the movies, the clownfish often lurk in the midst of sea anemones, but when food is around, they get energized. During the feeding session you will hear what type of animals live in the midst of the corals.

Mangrove-altaan ruokinta

Mangrove tank feeding

The tropical mangrove tank has archerfish who know how to drop treats from heights by spitting water! You can also meet a ribbontail stingray that is known for its electric-blue dots.

Seahorse feeding

The marvelous seahorses are fed once or twice a day. In the earlier feeding, you will also meet a Sea Life aquarist who tells how the seahorses are taken care of at Sea Life. Did you know that seahorses tend to squeak and click when eating?

Sturgeon tank feeding

Located in the Conservation Cove, the sturgeon tank includes a wide variety of rescued fish. The feeding session can be watched through three windows.

Kissing gourami feeding

In the Conservation Cove you will also find the fun kissing gouramis that are fed on Tuesdays.

Electric eel feeding

In the Igapó rainforest at the beginning of the exhibition, you will find an electric eel, the feeding of which you can watch on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Reef tank feeding

Add some colour in your Wednesday and Thursday afternoons by watching the feeding of tropical fish in the amazing reef pool. You will also hear information about corals.

Meet & Greet with SEA LIFE auqarist

Have you always wanted to ask questions from the aquarist of SEA LIFE? Now it's possible! Come and meet our aquarist who will tell you about how they take care of the fish and tanks. You will also see seahorses being fed.
