NOW OPEN! Something exciting is about to arrive at Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary, all the way from the world’s Tropical Rainforests. Our team of friendly Rainforest Rangers are getting ready to show you some of their jungle beasties. If you’ve ever wanted to hold a snake, lizard or a giant creepy crawly from the deepest depths of the jungle visit Hunstanton SEA LIFE to meet our new Rainforest Rangers and all of their friends.

 

Daily creature handling sessions

Weekend: 11.00 - 17.00

Weekdays: 11.00 - 11.30 & 14.00 - 16.00

 

 

 

Leaf Cutting Ants

The farmers of the insect world, leaf-cutter ants grow their own food in underground fungus farms. Pieces of leaf are carried hundreds of metres, with each ant carrying a piece up to 50 times its own body weight!

Bosc Monitor Lizard

Alan our Bosc Monitor Lizard is native to Africa and related to the Komodo Dragon, in the wild is often hunted for its leather.

Madagascar Hissing Cockroach

These insects are native to Madagascar and live in forests and other moist, tropical regions. Growing up to 7.5 cm in length, these are one of the largest cockroach species!

Giant Millipede

One of the largest millipedes!

Kingsnake

Elvis our resident king snake is a type of constrictor, using its body to coil around its food.

Royal Python

Often found in sub-Saharan Africa, its camouflage resembles the rocky grasses floor they like to roam in.

Milk Snake

Renso our resident Milk snake is related to the King snake and originates from North & South America. It is often thought to be venomous due to it colouration, however they are a none venomous species.

Corn Snake

Corn snakes are a North American species of rat snake, they help control populations of wild rodent pests that damage crops and spread disease.

Leopard Geckos

A very active ground-dwelling lizard found in desert around Asia, these amazing creatures use their tails to store fat and have evolved to be able to detach to help avoid predators.

Bearded Dragon

These lizards are only found naturally in Australia's desert regions!
