Seahorse Breeding

SEA LIFE are a successful breeder of twelve species of seahorses

Did you know?

We work in conjunction with organisations such as the International Taxon Advisory Group, which endeavours to protect seahorses and conserve our environment around the world.

Rescuing Sea Turtles

Our turtle rescue and rehabilitation centre rescues sick and injured turtles from the Mediterranean and surrounding seas. Once we've helped them make a full recovery they are released back into the wild, or for those too unwell to return, we continue their rehabilitation at Istanbul SEA LIFE Aquarium. Soon we will release one of our sea turtles back into the ocean and track where it goes!

WOW Fact

We are breeding thirteen species of rays which face extinction
