29th June 2015
SEA LIFE London staff were joined by a fabulous team of whale and dolphin fans on Sunday 29th June in order to do a 5 mile sponsored walk around central London.
The weather may have been a little wet but it did nothing to dampen the spirits of this enthusiastic gang who have (so far!) raised over £3154 for Whale & Dolphin Conservation (WDC)! As they walked they took in the sights of London; from Big Ben to Buckingham Palace!
A big well done and thank you to everyone who took part!
Walk for Whales is an annual collaborative event between SEA LIFE and WDC not only to raise donations for cetacean conservation but also to raise awareness for the fact that commercial whaling is still happening. If you missed Walk for Whales this year be sure to keep a close eye on our events page next year for news on the June 2016 walk.
At this stage we do not have a definitive time frame for the opening of the attraction. However as soon as the site is handed over to us, we will be ready to proceed with getting the attraction opened as quickly and safely as possible. If you would like further information please reach out to the team at EUR SpA.
