Common Cuttlefish (Sepia)

The Common Cuttlefish, also called Sepia officinalis, has eight short and two long prehensile tentacles for catching its prey.

They live over sandy and muddy ground in the North Sea and Mediterranean Sea and eat mussels, crustaceans and small fish.

Cuttlefish possess an internal shell called cuttlebone, which can be found at the beach occasionally!
