About eighteen centimetres tall, permanently eating and a fat belly - these are the big-belly seahorses you can see with us. They grow to a height of up to 35 centimetres when adult. Quite naturally, as the name suggests: if you look closely, you can see that they snap at food particles in the water with their mouth without interruption - they are permanent eaters.
