Through whole group and small groups, the learner will identify four different cephalopods and identify adaptions that help cephalopods to eat, hunt, and protect themselves.

TURTLE TIME (2nd-5th)

Students will understand what a sea turtle is, differences between a land and sea turtle, adaptations specifically for sea turtles, and sea turtle conservation.

SHARK SCHOOL (3rd-6th)

Through whole group instruction and small groups, the learner will identify simple shark anatomy, what kind of teeth they have and why, identify adaptions that help them to survive, and identify ways to help shark conservation.

MARINE CAREERS (7th-12th)

Students will become aware of marine careers (specifically an aquarist career) and all of the required duties to thrive within the field. They also will get to see photos of what it’s like to be an Aquarist here at SEA LIFE.

Policies & Procedures

  • Schools should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time. This will allow time for the group leader to check in and SEA LIFE Aquarium staff to organize the group and go over any necessary rules for the day!
  • Larger schools and groups are divided into smaller group segments and entry is staggered to avoid congestion in the Exhibit Area and satisfy capacity regulations.
  • Buses may drop and collect students at the #5 entrance next to the AMC Theaters.
  • Please note: for schools/groups bringing sacked lunches to enjoy in the food court following your visit; SEA LIFE has limited space to store lunches on-site. We may ask that you keep them stored in your school bus/vehicle.
