On average it will take you 1.5 to 2 hours to enjoy the full experience of SEA LIFE Manchester. However this depends completely on you and how long you would like to enjoy our underwater world.
When you arrive at the aquarium you will find that we have a general queue line (those who need tickets) and a priority queue line (those who already have tickets). Depending on which ticket you have purchased/wanting to purchase will depend on where you need to queue. Please ask one of our very friendly members of staff who will be more than happy to assist you and show you which queue to join.
For the health and safety of you and our animals, we ask that you do not touch any of our animals unless invited to by a member of staff. We have a rock-pool display where you are welcome to touch our starfish and crabs under the supervision of our fully trained staff.

Yes you can as we want you to take your memories of our creature’s home with you, however we do not permit the use of any flash photography as this can scare and harm and even blind our creatures. The use of tripods is also not permitted and if you wish to use a tripod you will need to arrange this with our marketing team.
We unfortunately do not have any cloakroom facilities for you to be able to store your belongings, this includes pushchairs on peak periods. On off-peak periods, we are able to store your pushchairs in the school room which is near admissions. Please ask a member of staff for more information.
We do have a gift shop and this is located at the exit of SEA LIFE Manchester. This is also accessible without entry to the SEA LIFE Manchester itself. To contact our gift shop please email your query to email@example.com
Eating and drinking within the aquarium is not permitted so therefore please do not bring your own snacks and refreshments with you. Your entry tickets are valid all day however so you can exit to eat and then re-enter at your convenience.
We do not have any facilities where you can buy lunch, however you ticket is valid all day so you are able to exit to get lunch. Eating and drinking is not permitted in the Aquarium. If you are a school group, please call the contact centre for use of our school lunch room
All tickets are valid for the whole day, so you are free to enter and exit at your leisure. Please ensure your however that your hand is stamped before exiting so that you can gain re-entry.
Currently we do not have a place designated for nursing mothers, however staff on the day will be only too happy to assist you in finding somewhere private.

No. Due to space limitations there are no spectator tickets available for the Feeding Experiences.
No. You need only wear shoes that you will not slip in and clothes that are comfortable and that you do not mind getting dirty - just in case!
Unfortunately due to the inquisitive nature of our Giant Green Sea Turtle Ernie, we do not allow guests to use underwater cameras or GoPros. This is for the safety of our sea creatures and our guests. Guests would also need their hands free to be able to communicate with the dive instructor so having a camera wouldn't be ideal.
No. Everything is provided for you apart from swimwear to go under your wetsuit and a towel.
No. You will not need any diving experience to do SeaTREK. We use a 'breath-easy helmet' that allows you to breath normally as you would on land.

Yes! Employees are issued with a pass enabling them, their friends and family to experience many of our fabulous attractions and theme parks.
Eligibility to work in the UK is a prerequisite for employment with Merlin. You will need to provide proof of right to work in the UK when you come in for an Interview.
There are certain requirements for different roles, at each attraction. Generally you have to be at least 16 years old or above to apply.
For some roles, such as in Security, you'll need to be 21 or over to satisfy our insurance requirements.
