About the Majidae

• Majidae belongs to the crab family. Its legs are similar in length to those of spiders, that is why they are also called spider crabs.
• On their body and legs the spider crabs have small hooks and bristles. The spider crabs attach algae and other things to them and camouflage themselves with them!
