About Bamboo shark

There are around 20 different species of bamboo shark.

You can see two of them live at our aquarium: the white-spotted bamboo shark and the brown-banded bamboo shark.

Bamboo sharks are nocturnal loners and usually very sluggish. They spend most of the day lying on the ground. They feed on shellfish and small fish.
