Experience the largest variety of sharks in Germany up close at SEA LIFE Munich, because only here can you discover so many different species in one place! Look forward to pyjama cat sharks, epaulette sharks and blacktip reef sharks in many different aquariums. In the largest tank, the tropical ocean tank, you can meet the two zebra shark ladies Pünktchen and Antonia, among others!

In our discovery tank and at the Mediterranean harbour, you can find out everything you need to know about sharks: How do you tell the difference between males and females? Do all shark species lay eggs? And why do nurse sharks lie on top of each other while sleeping? Ask our visitor guides and become a real shark expert!

What is the difference between a mussel and a snail? Are sea urchins really as prickly as they look? And what's so special about sea cucumbers? Find out at our discovery tank!

Our visitor carers will be happy to show you real shark and ray eggs. They will explain everything about the reproduction of sea creatures and you can not only ask lots of questions, but even touch many things. Do you know what a real shark egg feels like and that the material it is made of is not so foreign to us? Find out – in the discovery pool at SEA LIFE Munich!

Whether it's a walking leaf, stick insect or giant African snail - you won't forget these animal encounters in a hurry! After your ‘dive’ through SEA LIFE Munich, you can board the tropical island, the last part of the exhibition! Green water dragons, turtles and exotic frogs await you here.

Best of all, you can even touch some of the animals! Our visitor carers will be happy to show you the exotic animals up close and share exciting fun facts with you.
