Ray at the SEA LIFE Munich

Up close & ice cold

This summer the spotlight is on impressive sharks and rays, giant insects, and the one or the other surprise animal guest from the Munich Reptile Rescue Center. But the many colourful smaller sea creatures also make every encounter a real wow moment. Especially “cool”: in the large ocean tank will be a daily ice bomb for the sharks – an experience that will excite not only the animals!

Fresh and cheerful – even in the shark tank

Together with the High Life Divers, it´s getting really exciting on the weekends: during fascinating cleaning and feeding dives, visitors can watch live as the experienced divers plunge into the large tank and tidy up underwater. While the aquatic creatures are being fed, a small health check-up can also be conducted on them at the same time.

Goosebump moments guaranteed!

A new experience awaits every day at the Adventure Bay: At meet-and-greets with giant insects and African giant land snails, as well as snakes and turtles, children and adults can discover the fascinating world of tropical animals up close and with the companion of SEA LIFE experts.

Commented feedings and presentations at our touchpool

Roll up your sleeves and jump into the cool water. If you've ever wondered: What does a shark's egg feel like? Where is the mouth of an anemone? And what does a hermit crab's butt actually look like? This summer, we have the answer! There will also be feedings with exciting explanations from the zookeepers: Who eats what, how much, and why actually?

Explorer station & Underwater riddles

How sharp is a shark's tooth? What's so special about a nautilus shell? And why do crabs shed their skin? Our explorer station offers hands-on science. The program is added by an exciting quiz trail: With the log book in hand, young and old can embark on an exciting search for clues through the aquarium – their knowledge will be rewarded with a little surprise at the end!
