Learning Outcomes
Here at SEA LIFE Hunstanton we offer a truly unique alternative for your school trip, whilst fitting perfectly with the KS1 and KS2 curriculum! We also welcome Secondary school groups & Language Schools.
We make sure your pupils get up-close to the amazing creatures in our themed displays, ranging from native rivers and lakes to the deep ocean. After all, the more they see the more they'll learn.
Education Sessions
Join the Turtle Tea Party, have a commotion in the ocean or an underwater world tour with our educational talks and workshops for early years through to KS4, exploring themes of adaptation, lifecycle, ecosystems and much more!
Admission & Booking
Our school trip benefits include school admission from £6 per pupil, free teacher ratio, free risk assessment and classroom activities and two free planning tickets.

Who else will you meet?
The farmers of the insect world
Leaf-cutter Ants grow their own food in underground fungus farms. Pieces of leaves are carried hundreds of metres, with each ant carrying a piece up to 50 times its own body weight!
Madagascar Hissing Cockroach
These insects are native to Madagascar and live in forests and other moist, tropical regions. Growing up to 7.5 cm in length, these are one of the largest cockroach species in the world!
Leopard Geckos
A very active ground-dwelling lizard found in the deserts around Asia, these amazing creatures use their tails to store fat and have evolved to be able to detach their tails to help avoid predators
Bearded Dragon
- These lizards are only found naturally in Australia's desert regions
- Like a dragon, it’s equipped with spiny reptilian scales, which include a “beard” of spikes under its chin that puffs up depending on its mood
- Among the most popular pet reptiles, bearded dragons tend to be gentle, inquisitive, and active during the day
- Bearded dragons are not picky eaters. With their strong jaws, they can clench and crush hard-shelled insects like beetles. As omnivores, they’ll also go for leaves, flowers, fruit, and the occasional small lizard or rodent
Red-bellied Piranhas
There are around 40 species of Piranha and it may surprise you to read that most are vegetarian; Feeding mainly on fruits, nuts and seeds that fall from the trees. The Red-bellied Piranhas you will encounter on your journey through SEA LIFE Hunstanton, are one of the few meat-eating varieties.
