On the first Sunday of every month we will be running Quiet at the Aquarium sessions during our first hour of opening. These sessions provide a quieter experience for those with Autism and other neurodiverse conditions.

Enjoy a Quieter Experience

Discover our range of fascinating creatures from sharks to seahorses while the centre is quieter to create a more enjoyable experience for those with sensory sensitivities. 

Our centre music, hand driers and televisions will remain switched off until 11am to provide a quieter experience around the aquarium. 

Please note this is a pre-booked tickets-only event; guests must purchase their tickets online in advance to gain entry.

How to book

Quiet times at the aquarium run once a month. Our 2026 dates (all Sundays) are:
