Inspirational for all ages, SEA LIFE Scarborough offers pupils the opportunity to explore the creatures that live in our seas, rivers and oceans. They will walk in awe through pacific ocean tunnels, tropical rainforests, shark reef encounter and meet penguins and rescued seals. Younger pupils curiosity will be peaked as they become top rock pool explorers while older students can observe, first hand, ecosystems, environmental changes, evolution and marine conservation

Free teacher ratio
1 free teacher/assistant for every 5 primary school pupils.
1 free teacher/assistant for every 3 pre-school pupils.
1 free teacher/assistant for every 10 secondary school pupils.
*Please note our education rates are not available on weekends or the following dates during the 2023/2024 academic year:

If you would like to visit on one of the above dates with a school group you can take advantage of discounted Super Peak School rates at £14 per pupil, 1 teacher will go free for every 10 pupils.
Booking a visit
Schools should undertake full and thorough risk assessments in relation to their educational visits to SEA LIFE Scarborough Aquarium to ensure it can be undertaken safely. You can download our supporting risk assessment here.

If you know your preferred date and final numbers and would like to pay by credit card you can book now and pay now through our online booking system. Please be advised it is not possible to book workshops through this option. If you would like to visit within 14 days please use this option.

Alternatively, if you are still planning and finalising numbers and would like to make a booking now with our pay later option please fill in the form below and a member of our booking team will get back to you within 48 hours. Your booking will remain provisional until you confirm the booking and final numbers. You must confirm your booking at least 14 days in advance of the visit date.
