SEA LIFE Orlando celebrates National Public Lands Day

SEA LIFE Orlando teamed up with The Wekiva Wilderness Trust and The Florida Park Service to celebrate National Public Lands Day on Saturday, September 30!

National Public Lands Day is the nation’s largest, single-day volunteer event for public lands. Hundreds of thousands of volunteers mobilize across the country to maintain and restore our treasured public lands, from neighborhood parks and beaches to state and national parks.

SEA LIFE volunteers removed brush, invasive plants and litter to make way for a serenity garden to be installed at Wekiwa Springs State Park.
