Octopuses are molluscs which means they are from the same phylum (or family) as Slugs and Snails as well as Cuttlefish and Squid. They are well known for being very clever. In fact, they are one of the most intelligent invertebrate species (that means animals with no backbone). Generally, Octopuses are solitary creatures that hunt at dusk. They eat all manner of things from crabs to crayfish and even other molluscs.

Important Information
- This experience lasts approx. 15 minutes
- Please arrive promptly for your experience start time
- Children must be 8 years or over to participate in the experience
- A minimum height of 1.2m is required to participate in the experience
- Children between the age of 8-13 years old must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+years as a free spectator (Admission ticket required)
- Sensible, enclosed footwear and full-length trousers must be worn at all times
- Access to the feeding area is via a restricted route with reduced lighting and background machinery noise
- Valid for one person
