We want you to make the most out of your annual pass. That’s why we add all the days that we are closed to the validity of the annual passes. With the current restrictions, your pass will be valid for 37 additional days!

You must hand in the discount voucher at the cash register, otherwise access may be refused.

It is no problem if you are later/earlier than your timeslot. You do not have to contact SEA LIFE about this, you can just go to the till. 

Information about tickets and discount vouchers

We have several discount vouchers and actions. Please read all the terms and conditions carefully and check the validity of the voucher before visiting us.

Discount vouchers, promotions and internet cards cannot be combined with each other. Please make sure that you always take the original voucher and return them to us at the checkout. Discount vouchers are only valid for the full entrance price and cannot be used for group visits, school trips, children's parties and any other arrangements.

Yes! At the till you are able to upgrade your ticket to a combination ticket with LEGOLAND Discovery Centre. You are also able too book your combination tickets online in advance. For more information, click here

Yes. You can change your reservation up to 3 times via our online booking portal. Use your order number (starts with #55) and your e-mail or the last digits of the ticket ID. You find this info in the confirmation e-mail.

Yes, and you can also use (contactless) pins with us. Unfortunately we do not accept American Express. SEA LIFE is totally cashless.

General questions

SEA LIFE Scheveningen is fun for everyone but especially suitable for families with children between 3 and 11 years old.

An average visit takes 1.5 hours

On average, people stay inside for about 1 to 1.5 hours to see everything calmly. This of course depends on you and your interest in underwater life. It can take much longer but also shorter.

Dogs and other pets are not allowed in SEA LIFE (with the exception of an assistance dog).

If you would like to donate an animal/fish to SEA LIFE, please contact info@sealife.nl, the animal caretakers will check if the animal is suitable for SEA LIFE. Unfortunately we cannot accept every animal/fish.

Unfortunately, we do not have a separate parking space for buggies - so they can be taken into the centre.

SEA LIFE Scheveningen does not have space where you can eat and drink your own food and drink, but you are free to eat what you have brought along the way. Just after the otter room is the entrance to restaurant Boothuys Scheveningen. This restaurant does not belong to SEA LIFE but because of its location in the building, it is an excellent opportunity to take a short break. After your visit you can continue to the penguins and the shop. 

Smoking and consuming alcoholic beverages or other narcotics is not allowed in SEA LIFE Scheveningen.

When you arrive, there may be a queue in front of the cash register with people who want to buy a ticket. There is no separate box office for people who have bought an online ticket in advance.

The speed of the staff and the cash register system ensures that you never have to wait very long.

In order to protect the health and safety of you and our animals, we ask you not to touch the animals and to stay out of the water with your hands.

At the "Touch Pool" in the large ray area, you and the children can touch anemones, crabs, mussels and other marine life under the supervision of one of our professional staff and then wash your hands there.

All animals are fed food that fits in with their specific diet. The type of food and any supplements are carefully composed, therefore, it is not possible to feed the animals. 

You can certainly take photos, as many as you like! However, you are not allowed to use a flash. Flash light is very harmful to many of our animals, they can go blind and even die from the effects of stress. We also ask that you do not use a tripod as this will cause congestion and inconvenience to other visitors. Can we see your best pictures on our Facebook page?

Unfortunately, we do not have a cloakroom or lockers. We are therefore unable to store any items for you during your visit and would ask you to keep your belongings with you.

There is a souvenir shop just before the exit of SEA LIFE. Here we sell nice memories of your visit and also the photo that may have been taken of you when you entered can be seen here.

In the corridor where our toilets are located there is a baby changing room. There you can change or feed your child.

Discount with parking

Are you coming to SEA LIFE by car? Then we now have a special action with parking garage Strand, this is the largest garage in Scheveningen and is located on the Zwolsestraat. From here it is about a 15 minute walk to SEA LIFE. With us you can now pick up a discount ticket for no less than 50% for this garage after your visit to SEA LIFE. The 50% discount applies over the whole day (parking time), not just your visit to SEA LIFE.
