Snorkelling with Sharks

Take the plunge and come face-to-fin with some of the ocean's most fascinating predators in this unforgettable snorkelling adventure.
Step into our spectacular Ocean Display and experience the thrill of swimming just metres away from blacktip reef sharks, sea turtles, tropical fish and other incredible marine animals. Safely guided from our snorkel cage by one of our experienced Aquarists, you'll enjoy a unique perspective of the aquarium while discovering more about the amazing animals that call it home.
No previous diving or snorkelling experience is needed – just a sense of adventure! Our expert team will provide all the training and equipment you need before you enter the water.

- A 60-minute Snorkelling with Sharks experience
- Up to 20 minutes in the snorkel cage within our Ocean Display (depending on group size)
- A full safety briefing and guidance from our experienced Aquarists
- All snorkelling equipment provided, including wetsuits, available in sizes up to XXL. Please bring your own swimwear and a towel
- Admission to SEA LIFE Blackpool, so you can explore the aquarium before or after your experience
Prices start from £180 per booking (for up to 4 participants)
- No diving or snorkelling experience is required – participants simply need to be confident swimmers
- Participants must be 10 years or older
- Guests aged 10–16 years must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your booked experience time. (For 10:00am sessions only, please arrive at 10:00am.)
- Late arrivals may need to be rescheduled
- All participants must complete the SEA LIFE Blackpool activity waiver before taking part. This can be completed in advance
- Please bring your own swimwear and towel
- All participants must wear a wetsuit during the experience. You may wear your own or use one provided by SEA LIFE Blackpool
- For safety reasons, jewellery, mobile phones and loose items cannot be taken into the experience. Complimentary lockers are available onsite
- If you require prescription goggles, please bring your own
- Due to the location of the experience, participants must be able to walk upstairs, as there is no lift access to the top of the Ocean Display
- Unfortunately, there is no space for additional spectators in the experience area, however they can watch from the Ocean Tunnel. Standard entry SEA LIFE Blackpool tickets must be purchased separately to spectate
- Participants with a history of high blood pressure must provide a doctor's fitness note before taking part. Without this, participation will not be permitted
