Do your prices differ online and on the telephone to what they are on the day?

Yes. Tickets purchased online in advance start from a fantastic 25% saving. If you're purchasing tickets for a visit that day, full walk up price applies. For a full list of pricing, visit our Tickets page

Do we accept promotional/discounted vouchers?

We do from time-to-time have vouchers that are accepted with different discounts and offers. Please read all Terms and Conditions thoroughly prior to your arrival. Vouchers and promotional deals can only be used when purchasing full priced adult tickets on the day here at the aquarium. Vouchers can not be used in conjunction with any online or telephone bookings and can not be used with any other promotional offers or deals. You must have a printed copy of your voucher and any other required items. We will decline to accept the voucher if all relevant items are not present. 

How can I redeem my promotional voucher online?

To redeem a promo code online, click the 'Buy Tickets' button. When the store opens, navigate to the 'Promotional Code' box on the top right of the store and input your code there. 


Do you sell tickets for other attractions in Orlando?

We have many ticket combinations and you can receive great discounts on tickets to the Orlando Eye, Madame Tussauds Orlando, LEGOLAND Florida and LEGOLAND Florida Water Park. Please check our tickets page for more details. For the best price, pre-book your tickets online at least 24 hours ahead of your visit. 

Do I have to visit all the attractions in my combination ticket in one day?

You can if you like, but if you would like to space it out a little you can do so too. You will need to visit the issuing attraction on the date you have selected when booking and then you will have all your other tickets printed at the issuing attractions entrance. You will then have 30 days to visit the other attractions within your combination ticket.


How long will it take me to visit view the whole attraction?

On average it will take you 1.5 to 2 hours to enjoy the full experience of SEA LIFE London Aquarium. However this depends completely on you and how long you would like to enjoy our underwater world.

Where do I need to queue?

When you arrive at the aquarium you will find that we have a general queue line and a priority queue line. Depending on which ticket you have purchased/wanting to purchase will depend on where you need to queue. Please ask one of our very friendly members of staff who will be more than happy to assist you and show you which queue to join.

Can we touch the creatures?

 For the health and safety of you and our animals, we ask that you do not touch any of our animals unless invited to by a member of staff. We have a rock-pool display where you are welcome to touch our starfish and crabs under the supervision of our fully trained staff. 

Are there any creatures we can feed?

Yes, you can help daily with the 11.30am Ray feed, this comes on a first come first serve basis so get there early if you want to take part! There are many other feeds and talks that you can watch but not participate in too. Please view our Talks and Feeding times page for information on all the feeds and talks we do daily.

Am I allowed to take photos at SEA LIFE London Aquarium?

Yes you can as we want you to take your memories of our creature’s home with you, however we do not permit the use of any flash photography as this can scare and harm and even blind our creatures. The use of tripods is also not permitted and if you wish to use a tripod you will need to arrange this with our press team.

Is there anywhere to store my belongings or pushchair?

We unfortunately do not have any cloakroom facilities for you to be able to store your belongings, this includes pushchairs. However London Waterloo Station which is a short walk away from us has a left luggage facility which you can store belongings in for the day at a small fee. Please enquire at the station for further information.

Do you have a gift shop?

We do have a gift shop and this is located at the exit of SEA LIFE London Aquarium. This is also accessible without entry to the SEA LIFE London Aquarium itself. To contact our gift shop please email your query to

Can I eat and drink once inside SEA LIFE London Aquarium?

Eating and drinking within the aquarium is not permitted so therefore please do not bring your own snacks and refreshments with you. Your entry tickets are valid all day however so you can exit to eat and then re-enter at your convenience.

Is there anywhere to eat lunch at SEA LIFE London Aquarium?

We do not have any facilities where you can buy lunch, however you ticket is valid all day so you are able to exit to get lunch. Eating and drinking is not permitted in the Aquarium. If you are a school group, please call the contact centre for use of our school lunch room

What happens if I need to leave before the end of my visit?

All tickets are valid for the whole day, so you are free to enter and exit at your leisure. Please ensure your however that your hand is stamped before exiting so that you can gain re-entry.

Is there a place for nursing mothers?

Currently we do not have a place designated for nursing mothers,  however staff on the day will be only too happy to assist you in finding somewhere private.


Can I propose to my partner at the SEA LIFE London Aquarium?

We do have a proposal package where one of our divers enters the tanks and holds up a sign for your partner. The package includes a behind the scenes tour prior to the proposal- this is where one of our staff members takes you to the area where the proposal will happen. After the proposal you will get half a bottle of champagne and a quiet area that you can enjoy. The cost of the package also includes access to the aquarium for the whole day and complimentary photos.

The cost of this package is £250 and is only available on Wednesdays, from 14:30.

Will I get in the water during the Feeding Experiences?

No. All feeding experiences take place on a platform over the tank.

Can we watch someone take part in a feeding experience?

No. Due to space limitations there are no spectator tickets available for the Feeding Experiences.

Do I need to wear anything special for the Feeding Experiences?

No. You need only wear shoes that you will not slip in and clothes that are comfortable and that you do not mind getting dirty - just in case!

Can I bring my underwater camera to a snorkel?

You are more than welcome to bring your camera along with you, however it will be at the discretion of the Supervisor as to whether or not you may use it. We take into consideration the effect of the camera on the animals and the enjoyment of other guests.

Do I need to bring any equipment with me for a Snorkel?

No. Everything is provided for you apart from swimwear to go under your wetsuit and a towel.


Can I do my Work Experience at the SEA LIFE London Aquarium?

Yes we have a work experience program. This program is extremely popular so we advise applying in early September to avoid disappointment! Please see the work experience page for more information.

Can I volunteer at the SEA LIFE London Aquarium?

We do not currently offer a volunteer program at the SEA LIFE London Aquarium.

Can I do my university internship at the SEA LIFE London Aquarium?

We have a program with Anglia Ruskin university and all applications must go through the approved university routes. Unfortunately we cannot accept anyone from a different university.

Due to data protection legislation we do not accept any speculative applications. Should you send us your information we are required to destroy it. We advertise all of our vacancies online so please do check back regularly for roles that may interest you!

What happens once I apply?

Will I know if I have been unsuccessful once I have applied?

Yes – we will contact you either way to confirm whether or not you have been successful.

What is the selection process?

Successful applicants will be required to attend either an assessment centre and/or an interview.

What happens at an assessment centre?

This varies role to role though you will be required to complete short exercises in teams and attend an interview. This is the ideal opportunity for you to find out more about what it is like to work for us, and for us to find out more about you.

They are designed to help us select the right people for the business, and should also be enjoyable for you too!

What is the dress code at the assessment centre?

We'd say smart/casual but remember you're trying to make a good first impression!

What is the dress code?

Within our customer facing roles you are required to wear a uniform. We operate a fairly flexible policy on dress code in all non-uniform areas. In some roles you may even get the chance to wear a costume!

Will I get free tickets?

Yes! Employees are issued with a pass enabling them, their friends and family to experience many of our fabulous attractions and theme parks.

I need a work permit to work in the UK. Can I still apply?

Eligibility to work in the UK is a prerequisite for employment with Merlin. You will need to provide proof of right to work in the UK when you come in for an Interview.

Are there any age restrictions?

There are certain requirements for different roles, at each attraction. Generally you have to be at least 16 years old or above to apply.

For some roles, such as in Security, you'll need to be 21 or over to satisfy our insurance requirements.
