Hand-feed our penguins their fishy banquet and watch up close as they waddle, swim and play around you!
Each one of our playful penguins has a distinct personality, which you can get to know as you meet and learn everything there is to know about them!
The VIP experience includes a sneak peek behind the scenes where you can discover how we care for these cheeky little creatures and have the chance to ask our team of penguin experts anything you want to know.

What's Included?
- Feed, meet and get up close to our beautiful colony of cheeky Gentoo penguins.
- This 30-minute penguin feed will be led by a knowledgeable trained Aquarist who will be able to tell you all about our penguins’ lifestyles, diets and habitats.
- The experience includes access to the National SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham on the day of your experience
Please note:
Due to restricted access and the nature of the animal enclosures guests must be able to stand and manoeuvre around the display to access the VIP Feed area – if you have any questions about accessibility please get in touch.
Availability
- There are limited spaces available, so booking online in advance is essential.
- The Penguin Feeding experience is available on Saturdays & Sundays only.
- Participants must be at least 16 years of age.
- Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
- This experience cannot be carried out whilst pregnant.
- During the experience, no jewellery can be worn. If any jewellery or piercings can not be removed, you may not be able to participate.
- If you have a seafood allergy of any kind you are unable to participate in the experience.
- Suits and footwear will be provided and must be worn at all times.
- Must not be in contact with birds two weeks prior to the experience. This includes handling of bird(s), cage, food, water and toys.
- Please allow one hour for the total experience
