You will be amazed by the wide variety of fish we have in our 1.3 million gallon aquarium! With thousands of sea creatures, you will see everything from freshwater Stingrays and four-foot Alligator Gar to 350-pound Sea Turtles and 9 foot sharks......plus Jellyfish and Seahorses as well! Get close to the creatures at our new Pacific Northwest Rockpool - you can touch them!

It takes approximately an hour to complete a visit at SEA LIFE; however, you may take as little or as long as you need to experience the entire attraction.

Yes – admission to SEA LIFE is valid all day. You will need a handstamp and your ticket for re-entry.
No weapons of any kind are permitted into our attraction.
We have many different options for booking and purchasing tickets. We recommend that you buy tickets online in advance because it is the easiest way to guarantee entry and save.
You may also buy tickets over the phone at 952-853-0612 and, when available, purchase walk-up tickets at the door. Please note that walk-up tickets may not be available during peak periods like weekends, holidays and during times of high school and group volume.

Tickets purchased at the door are $24.49+tax for Adult admission (ages 13 and up) and $17.49+tax for Child admission (ages 3-12). Children 2 years and under are free. Discounted tickets are available online.
All buses should drop off students at the North entrance. Buses will also park at the North entrance.
One free chaperone is allowed per five (5) students for classroom programs. Teachers are included when determining the number of chaperones. Additional chaperones will be charged an admission fee. Advanced reservations are required. SEA LIFE Minnesota reserves the right to request that chaperones remain in the exhibit area if classrooms have too many participants.
To ensure the best possible experience, please call in advance to make arrangements for children with special needs. The aquarium is wheelchair accessible.
SEA LIFE Minnesota Aquarium does not have an on-site lunch area for your students. We would be happy to store your lunches in a designated area during your group’s adventure. Many groups choose to eat their bagged lunches in one of the Mall of America food courts.
To make reservations, please call us at 952-853-0612 or email sales@sealifeus.com. Reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance.
Payment is due in full two weeks in advance. We do not accept purchase orders.
Once you’ve made your reservation, we will email you a confirmation letter, invoice, directions, bus parking information and other related information to make your visit easy and enjoyable. Please return your signed contract within one week of receiving it.
If your group is late, we may be required to adjust or cut components of your program. Please contact us to let us know that you are running late.
If you decide to cancel your education program or reduce the number of attendees, we require at least two weeks notice. We are unable to refund admission and program fees if you have fewer attendees than the number reserved. Schools reserve the right to reschedule visits due to inclement weather and SEA LIFE Minnesota reserves the right to cancel classes at any time.
All active military and veterans can receive SEA LIFE Minnesota Aquarium admission for $16.99! You must purchase these tickets at the SEA LIFE Minnesota Box Office and show your valid military or veteran ID to receive the discount. The discount is also valid for all members of the family/friends in their group. Up to 10 discounts per group with military id.
Yes - save $4 off any admission by showing your AAA card! Tickets must be purchased from the SEA LIFE Minnesota Box Office upon arrival and a valid AAA card must be presented to receive discount. Up to 10 discounts per group with AAA card.
No. Walk to the East side of Mall of America, and if you are on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th levels simply take the East elevators/escalators down to level one. SEA LIFE Minnesota Aquarium has very prominent signage to greet you upon your arrival.

The best place to park is level one on the East side of the mall between LL Bean and Sears. The entrance to SEA LIFE Minnesota Aquarium is on the first floor next to the Rotunda.

Yes, the attraction is accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. We have an elevator located on the first floor near our main entrance and Level One Box Office to access the attraction.
