Turtley Fascinating

We see many fascinating friendships formed at Sydney Aquarium but none more unique than this fishy twist on the old 'The Turtle and the Hare' fable!

 

One of our Murray Darling Short-necked Turtles has taken to a game of ring around the rosy with one of our Silver Perch fish. Often he can be seen chasing the fish around in circles, forming a unique circle of friendship.

 

The pair don't get anywhere and there certainly aren't any winners in this race, but both seem to have a lot of fun and the turtle has found a pal he would stick his neck out for.
