What you may not know was he was also New Zealand's most successful treasure hunter. 40 years after his death, a tale told on the high seas will ignite a quest to complete his final treasure hunt.

Friday 30 May Former treasure hunters from Kelly Tarlton’s crew share the outrageous and often dangerous expeditions from around New Zealand's coastline and the world. What do they know about the lost anchor, and can it be found?

Episode 3 - The Voyage of the St Jean Baptiste
Friday 6 June A French ship on an illicit smuggling mission, a crew dying from scurvy and 125-year-old map to a dangerous island known as New Zealand. Our would-be treasure hunters find out how the anchors of the St Jean Baptiste came to be left on the seabed of Doubtless Bay.

Episode 4 - Kelly Tarlton's Underwater World
Friday 13 June The final year of Kelly Tarlton’s life saw him forever change the way that aquariums around the world were built. Those who were there share the memories of this achievement and the legacy that’s endured.

Episode 5 - Anchor Me
Friday 20 June Combining the journals of Captain De Surville, the notes of Kelly Tarlton and the stories of past divers, the treasure hunt is about to become submerged. With a crew assembled and using cutting edge technology the seabed of doubtless bay is scoured to rediscover the final anchor of the St Jean Baptiste.

Episode 6 - The Final Treasure Hunt
Friday 27 June The thrilling conclusion is confronted by a shocking twist in the treasure hunt. Leading to unforeseen locations and new allies the anchors reveal a hidden truth.
Kelly Tarlton is widely known as the visionary behind Kelly Tarlton's Underwater World, now more famously known as SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's. What's less known is that Tarlton was also a highly successful treasure hunter of shipwrecks across the globe. 40 years after his death a team made up of friends, family and marine enthusiasts embark upon an adventure to complete one of his final expeditions, setting off to find the location of one of the oldest European artifacts in New Zealand - the third anchor of the St Jean Baptiste.
