Open Oceans
Explore the Open Ocean
Dive into a spectacular underwater ocean view at SEA LIFE London’s breathtaking Open Oceans zone - one of the most unique attractions in London. Surrounded by the skeletal remains of a giant grey whale, you’ll encounter shimmering rays, playful sea turtles and fascinating sharks in the fish tank that bring the ocean's mystery to life.
This is not just a visit - it’s an immersive journey into the ocean underwater, filled with colour, movement, and awe.
A Window into the Deep
Step into the vibrant world of the open ocean in this immersive exhibit. At its heart lies the dramatic replica ribcage of a great grey whale, a striking tribute to the ocean’s giants. Around it, tropical fish dart through the water: Harlequin Wrasse, Clown Triggerfish, Bignose Unicornfish, and more. Watch for schools of Humpback Snapper, Ocellated Eagle Rays and the graceful movements of ocean life all around you.

Journey Through the Aquarium Tunnel
Step into one of the capital’s most iconic features - SEA LIFE London’s aquarium tunnel. This glass walkway, suspended beneath a 750,000-litre tank, takes you five metres below the surface for a 360-degree underwater ocean view.
Glide beneath elegant rays, beside exotic fish, and under the watchful presence of zebra sharks, while green sea turtles drift gracefully above. It’s like stepping into a real-life ocean documentary, making it one of the most fun family activities in London.
