Our guests adore our resident seals! The range of Seal Experiences we offer are the perfect way to get to know these playful animals, as well as learn more about them. Please make sure to pre-book a day and time online, as places are limited.

Seal Swim
Why not delve in the deep end and swim with our beautiful seals? Get up close and personal in your very own seal swim experience.
The Seal Swim runs on the following days:
- Monday to Saturday, after our 10:30am Seal Presentation
If you are buying the General Admission + Seal Swim ticket, you can enter the aquarium as of 10:00am with your ticket. This gives you plenty of time to explore all the other amazing zones SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast has to offer. The experience includes one souvenir photo. Additional photos are available to purchase. Places are limited, so book early! Please pre-book a day and time online.
What's Included
AGES 13+ (Proof of age may be required)
- Swim session with the seals at Seal Island
- Meet our beautiful resident seals and have your photo taken (One free photograph included in the cost. Additional photos available at an additional cost.)
- Meet our passionate seal team in the Seals Fish Kitchen and learn about how we care for our seals
Further Details
- There are only limited spaces available daily so bookings are essential.
- Participants must be at least 13 years of age to take part in this experience.
- During the experience, all jewellery must be removed. If items can not be removed, guests are unable to participate in the experience.
- Participants must bring their own towel to the experience.
- This experience cannot be undertaken whilst pregnant.
- If you have a sea food allergy of any kind you are unable to participate in the experience.

Seal Encounter
Want to get to know our seals better? You can meet them, face to flipper with our unique Seal Encounter experience. Come and see how gorgeous they are close up!

What's Included

- Come into our Seal Fish Kitchen, see what our seals eat and learn how we care for them
- Learn about the seal species in Australian waters
- Meet one of our beautiful seals up close
- Touch their fur and whiskers, look at their eyes up close and shake flippers to 'seal' the friendship
- During your Seal Encounter, there will be a dedicated photographer to capture your experience with the seal - one free photo is included

I bought my husband and I a seal swim for our anniversary. We absolutely loved it. The staff were awesome, so friendly and happy to have a chat. Would definitely recommend SEA LIFE and the seal experience.
