This 'Face Your Fears' Day (October 11th) we want to challenge you to get outside your comfort zone and face those terrifying phobias, with the help of our resident experts and guest psychologist. Do you have a fear of spiders (Arachnophobia) & snakes (Ophidiophobia), a fear of sharks (Galeophobia) or a fear of heights (Acrophobia)? If you do, this is your chance to pledge to conquer your fear. Phobias
Fear of Heights
Fear of Heights, is one of the most common phobias in the world. With some people reported to jump into fight or flight mode just from photos of tall mountains and even hearing someone else talk about heights.
Fear of sharks?
Galeophobia - 'galeo" is the greek word for shark and phobia the word for fear. Fear of sharks is often reinforced by Hollywood films and TV, If your fear of sharks stops you from enjoying the beach, or even getting on a boat, then you may have this phobia.
Fear of Snakes & Spiders
Does your heart race? Do you start shivering, do you have the urge to run away when you see or even hear the words spiders and snakes? Then you may have an intense phobia towards them.
